A reprise of our final concert of the 2007 season, the NRSO will hold an NRSO Camerata concert at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre to open our 2008 season. The exciting program for the afternoon will include a Vivaldi Cello & Bassoon Concerto, Concerto Grosso by Corelli, the Suite from Xerxes by Handel, an Oboe Concerto by Marcello, and a Sinfonietta by Mozart to name just a few.

Also appearing on the program will be Coloratura soprano Liza Beamish singing two Handel Arias including Let the Bright Seraphim from "Samson" and Rejoice O Daughter of Zion from "The Messiah".  The aria from Samson is stunning as it really is a duet between soprano and piccolo trumpet.

As with previous concerts at the Civic Centre, light refreshments including tea and coffee will be available during the interval. Wine will also be served for a modest fee.

Ticket prices are: Adults $40, Concession $35, Students $20.  Please note that these prices include GST.
